8 months

WOW, it seems I start that way each time. The girls just keep growing and growing. On Feb 7th my friend JoDee had her baby boy Carson, what a cutie! He was 6lbs 10ozs and when I went to see him he seemed so small to me, and both the girls were more than 1lb small than him to start with. God is amazing! At eight month both the girls can:
  • sit by themselves
  • push themselves to a sitting position
  • scoot to any location they like
  • get up on hands and knees and rock back and forth and take a one leg crawl and then crash to the ground! They are so close to crawling
  • no teeth yet
  • they can say mommy when they are crying to be held and daddy sometimes too
  • they can stand for a few seconds by themselves
  • can pull up almost to knees on furniture
  • can stand by themselves for a few seconds if holding onto something

At 8 months the girls weigh: Chloe 16lbs 14ozs and Caroline 15lbs and 4ozs. Still smaller than most 8 month olds, but on the charts! YEA! I will post some pictures soon!

Wanting to Crawl!

CAROLINE AND HER AMAZING PUSH UP!
CHLOE, JUST LIKE MOMMY CAN'T KEEP HER EYES OPEN FOR A PICTURE

HOW CUTE ARE WE?
ADORABLE

The girls are moving all around! It's just crazy, if you turn your back for more than 1 minute they will be in a completely different spot and you have to stop and ask yourself, "did they crawl and I missed it ?" NO is the answer, but they are doing everything but crawling. Most impressive right now is Caroline and her FULL push up, if she could just pull in her knees she would be unstoppable. This child is super strong, what a little gymnast she is. And Chloe is just super curious, it's like she's analyzing each little thing, she was playing with Robert's watch on his wrist and then she saw the hairs and started to pull them, it was SO funny, well I thought it was funny!

7 Months

Caroline and Chloe! Chloe is trying to talk to me in this pic and has her mouth open. She is so silly! Wow, I can't believe it another month has gone by and just in the last 2 weeks the girls motor skills have taken another huge leap. They can both sit up by themselves although busy body Caroline can only stand to sit there for about 1 minute before she needs to be moving into a new position to find a new toy. Caroline loves to roll next to Chloe when she is just playing with her hands minding her own business and take out her Binky, Chloe being the good girl she is just looks at Caroline, like OK if you want that one I will find yours and turns over and finds Caroline's. They favorite toys right now are a set of drums Granny got them and this strange spherical shaped toy with too much going on, but they love them bc they make noise. (To the left is what it looks like when they eat food. They are wearing the super cute outfits Auntie Sara got them, that say Peanut Butter (Caroline) and Jelly (Chloe)) They have mastered the rolling around to get where they want to go, and if you don't watch them they will have rolled completely to the other side of the room some where. They look like the little mermaid when the push up on their arms, then they get the butt going, but no crawling yet, Caroline loves if you will let her stand up. She can get herself out of her bumbo chair by standing up and throwing herself over the back. She is going be trouble! They love to laugh and take off their socks, outfits with feet in them are so nice for mom, bc I don't have to worry about finding socks or the girls getting next to each other and taking off sisters socks. In the pic Chloe has on the pink hat which doesn't last long bc as soon as she gets next to Caroline, Caroline grabs it and takes it off. Girls had another cold when the weather really dipped below freezing here, so I took them to the Dr on the 2nd and Chloe weighed in at 16lbs and Caroline at 13lbs 12 ozs, which I thought was good for her not feeling so well and eating a little less for the past few days. We had Chloe's head Dr. follow up apt and she will be going this week to get fitted for a helmet, once fitted it will be adjusted each week for about 6-8 weeks and then every 2 weeks and she will wear it for about 3 months. Here head and face are a lot better since we've been doing her neck therapy, but I'm really happy the Dr wants to make sure she will look like a perfect pretty little girl soon!

The girls now have tons of toys to fill up there new play room! We videoed them unwrapping all their gifts and they were more fascinated with the paper and bows than the actual gifts, but I know soon they will like the gifts too. I will up load more pictures later this week when have our Internet hooked up at our new house! We moved in this past weekend still unpacking up so exciting to be in a new home of our own again! Still praying for our house in Dallas to sell.

6 months~

WOW! Every week it seems they learn to do something new and fun. This week Caroline will sit in my lap and push down with her legs to stand up, she wants to skip crawling and go straight to walking, but she can't figure out why she can stand up with help, but not walk, she gets really mad and starts growling. It's so funny. Chloe and Caroline are both trying crawl, pushing up and moving all over the place but not crawling. They both love to lay on their tummy's and kick their legs up and down like drums on the floor. Chloe is still a lot bigger than Caroline, but Caroline thinks she is bigger and pushes her sister around. Chloe just wants to be next to Caroline and try to talk to her. They both talk baby talk constantly and make so much noise. Chloe had been doing really well with her neck exercises and her head is looking so much better. We go back on the 5th to see if she will need a helmet or not. We are praying no and that her head will just keep improving the more she moves around. Today we go for their 6m shots and this weekend we are finally moving into our new house! YEA! Unfortunately we still have our house in Dallas, praying that it will sell really soon! I'm not sure how much the girls weigh, but we will find out today and I will post next week once our Internet is hooked up at our new house. If I had to guess I would say Chloe weighs 15 lbs+ and Caroline like 13 and 1/2 lbs. Caroline is just a mover and exercises all her weight off. She only takes 15min naps during the day and wakes smiling and kicking ready to see what trouble she can get herself into. Chloe loves to nap most of the time and will nap for usually 30mins+ in between each of her feedings, but Caroline wants me to be her legs and take her around to see new things. The girls shirts say " Daddy says I was a great idea" that's b/c daddy gets to go to work everyday and not see what a stinker you two really are.

5 months happy girls!

OK, not the best pic b/c it's from my phone! Forgot to bring the camera with me. But, look at the happy cute little girls! The girls are rolling over like crazy! On top of each other and everything!~ Chloe is on the left and Caroline in the right, but in this picture is a little easier to see who is who! Caroline is grabbing her toes all the time and likes to pull off her socks! Caroline's favorite game to play is airplane! She loves to fly and laughs the whole time! Chloe is now my special child, she has to go to the head Dr to have her flat head looked at this next week before Thanksgiving! YOU can see her flat left side of her head from this pic! The little stinker must have slept on that side of her head the last 3 months inside when she was head down because you can prop on the right side of her head and then 10 minutes later she will start screaming in her sleep until she is on the other side again and then instantly falls back asleep! Bad, Bad Chloe! Girls both want to crawl really bad, but they can't figure out how to make their tummies move! They both pull on the blankets to move, and raise up their butts, but they can't move on their tummies, but they roll all around and can end up all over by floor by moving! THAT's all for now!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Our First Halloween! Mommy had 3 outfits to change us into, but we didn't really care for the wardrobe changes. So Chloe got to be a kitty and Caroline a little ghost even though they each had the same outfit to wear, and another little outfit from Aunt Remica that said, "I love my Mummy" with a little mummy on it. Oh well, to much fun. All the excitement made Chloe sleep all night for 10 hours, but not I want to play constantly and talk Caroline, she woke up to eat at 2am and then again at 6am, but she talked from 2:30, (whe she finished her bottle), to 3:43 when she finally fell back to sleep again. So did mummy get any sleep? NO!
